We have tickets for the Australia vs. England rugby game at the Telstra Dome on Saturday! It was a bit of a “last minute” decision, but seemed to be a perfect way to celebrate my being granted permanent residence as well as Michael and my 2 year anniversary. So we will be donning the green and gold (going shopping for said tacky rugby apparel tomorrow morning) and hoping to, once again, give the Poms a right royal thrashing on Saturday!
Michael and I are officially settled in Melbourne! We are staying in St. Kilda, about 4 kilometers South East of the CBD and 10 minutes walk from the beach. It is a great place and I have never been in a more friendly environment. We have a tram junction 2 minutes walk away which allows us access to any destination in Melbourne and, more importantly, are really close to the cafe’s and shops on both Fitzroy and Acland streets.
