Uno Game Idea

Having really enjoyed playing around with Tic-Tac-Toe rules within an automata experiment, I started to think about all of those other little games that we play where the rules are so native to us now that we don’t really need any instructions to help us understand what’s going on.

Michael Battle - Flash Experiment - Uno

Uno, anyone?!

Have a click around and figure out what’s happening - I bet you get it quite quickly. Again, this hasn’t made it to ‘game’ status… but isn’t too far off should I be encouraged to take it there.

It would be pretty easy to integrate “Draw Four’s” etc as powerup/bomb cards where they perform a special function. I wonder what “Reverse” and “Skip” could do?

Can you think of any other simple games that we all know how to play? Come up with a good one and I promise you’ll see it here in the coming weeks!

I think that if there is a number in the place you click on, on the outside the same number it will take that number out as well
