Hex Splash Back … v2

Hey - after a suggestion from my brother (Jono), I’ve made a few changes. Make sure you check out the previous post, then come back here and have a look.

This version is slightly different/more advanced:

  • Each Tile will burst with 10 Drips.
  • If two projectile Drips will occupy the same tile at the same time, they will combine to form a new Drop on that Tile.
  • Drips have 2 payloads… they will contribute to a maximum of 2 Tiles before dying.
  • 0 - 9 to reset

Check it…

Any more ideas?

This kind of stuff is great, and it is great that you make this stuff on your free time and put it on the web. What I would love to see, though, is for your experiments to be able to build up to something bigger when put together. I think that would be amazing. The problem would be that they might become too complicated. Some cool, overarching plan would be awesome though.

Hey Jon - thanks for that.

It is a problem that I think of each time I publish a new thought/idea - for the time being my emphasis is on finding novel concepts and just ‘getting them out there’… focusing less on perfecting them and more on exploring the core concepts. Hopefully asking a few questions and encouraging guys like you to consider your own answers… in turn getting some comments that spawn new ideas…. and so on and so on.

I’m not quite sure what the ’something bigger’ could be. I’ll reflect on it - in the meantime, if you think of something, please let me know.
