My Flash Particle Generator

This came out of just wondering if I could do it… and it works… so I guess I could!

It’’s simply a 2D (maybe 2.5D) particle generator with the movement of the particles influenced by the direction and speed of the mouse. It runs a little slow inside the browser, so if you”re interested, you can download the .exe.

Particle Generator

Cheers.

This is cool - do you still have the source for this. I would love to play around with it and learn a little.

Hey Stephen - sorry I can’t give out the code as yet due to having freelance clients that are paying me to do very similar projects.

If you have a go I can try assist you when you get stuck. It’s not that tricky - it’s one of the first ActionScript projects that I did so I’m sure if you have your head around the basic concepts you should be fine.
